Annika Weikinnis, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Canada

Annika Weikinnis is the Project Manager of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Canada. She started working for KAS Canada as Researcher in September 2019 and transitioned to her current position in December of the same year. She began her career as Legal Affairs Trainee at the European Commission at the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development in Brussels, Belgium. After that she worked as Researcher for Blomeyer & Sanz, an EU research, evaluation and impact assessment service based in Guadalajara, Spain. She holds three Master’s Degrees. She received her M.A. in Politics and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. After that she completed a L.L.M. in Law and Politics of International Security at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. She continued her studies at the University of Ottawa and concluded another L.L.M specialized in International Criminal Law.
