We Are Building a Network of Democratic Solidarity

Since 2018, Canadian and German proponents and practitioners of democracy have made common cause in applying the values that unite us to shared challenges at home and in global affairs. RODA is a joint effort by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Canada and the Canadian International Council

What We Do?

To build a new group of likeminded democracies, the CIC, KAS Canada and our partners:

  • Convene policymakers, civil society leaders, and experts to scope out shared challenges to participating countries.
  • Commission policy recommendations to coordinate responses.
  • Host meetings for political representatives to advance the agenda.
