An Invitation to Embrace Canada's Future - Through the Rule of Law

Join the Remembering Project trip to the north shore of Lake Huron and Manitoulin Island on September 30, 2024. You'll have the chance to help survivors in their work of confronting the legacy of the Spanish River residential school, and celebrate the survival of the Anishinaabe nation.

But you will also hear about the transformation this region is now experiencing with the victory the Anishinaabek have won in the Supreme Court to secure recognition of the treaty by which this land was incorporated into Canada in 1850. More than a century of unpaid rent is finally flowing to the people of this land as the courts uphold the true nature of our country - as a place that honours the rule of law.
