Sara Wolfe, founder of the Toronto Birth Centre and longtime medical practitioner who has adapted Anishinaabe knowledge and practices to enhance maternal care for all Canadians, will be bringing us into her space on August 19th.
She is a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife with over a decade of experience in providing compassionate and personalized care to women and families.
Beyond her clinical practice, Sara is passionate about advocacy and education, actively participating in community outreach programs and professional organizations. She also mentors midwifery students, sharing her expertise with future midwives.
Sara's approach centers on empowering women, respecting their choices, and supporting their well-being. Her dedication and genuine care make her a highly respected midwife in her community.
As such, we will be hosting the next Circle meeting in the Toronto Birth Centre itself to see how marrying Indigenous traditions and Western practices creates new value for everyone’s health.
