Test session for “Canadians in Conversation”

Calling all Remembering Project volunteers:

We need a cross-section of citizens to help us test a method for face-to-face conversations on difficult topics as we prepare for a major national event in March.

The topic is the legacy of residential schools. Participants will be matched with another citizen with differing views, and we will then provide reading material to prepare you. The two citizens will then have 45 minutes to have a discussion, and will be asked to provide us feedback afterward.

Can Canadians of different opinions discuss painful parts of our country’s story honestly and respectfully? Help us find out.
