Dr. Joanne Liu, McGill University
Dr. Joanne Liu is a practising emergency physician, veteran humanitarian aid worker, former international president of Médecins Sans Frontières from 2013-2019, currently Professor at the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University with a focus on pandemic preparedness and response and health emergencies. She is as well co-panelist on the Independent Panel for Pandemics Preparedness and response (IPPPR).
